Friday 5 for August 15: Disposal

1. What did you last replace batteries for?
My TI-89 calculator.
2. What have you thrown away that you probably could have had repaired?
Nothing. I always attempt to fix things first. In fact, I recently replaced the LCD screen in my laptop!
3. Among items in your line of sight right now, what should probably be put in the trash?
An empty distilled water bottle.
4. When did you last use disposable cutlery while dining in your house?
Two weeks ago... Skyline chili!
5. Whose actions cause you to waste time you otherwise wouldn’t waste?
Road construction crews! I know they have a job to do but it's still frustrating when they block traffic without warning. A couple of weeks ago it took Da Hubby and me 2.5 hours to make a trip that would ordinarily take 10 minutes because they reduced an entire section of Rt. 8 South to one lane. Even an ambulance (with a person already inside) got stuck. It was like that for almost a week. Posting a sign before the on ramp would have made a huge difference.
